Welcome to Riverhead Central School District's Department of Health Services!
Our primary objectives are to promote health, safety and wellness for our students. UPDATED (9/2020) Immunization Information: All students entering or attending school require updated immunizations, as per the New York State Department of Health. Updated requirements can be found on the district website under the Health Services link at www.rcsdpps.org. At this time, the NYSDOH is not issuing exceptions for immunizations because of COVID-19. The Department's stance continues to be that students missing vaccine doses for any reason must comply with Public Health Law Section 2164 requirements. Children entering or attending school in New York State, including summer school and distance learning, must comply with said requirements. Students should have immunizations current by October 15th or show that they have a scheduled appointment to complete their vaccinations. Please look for specific information regarding your child’s immunization to come from the building principal. You may contact the building nurse if you have any questions.
