I know many of my colleagues, parents and students are probably feeling the same strange mixture of fear, anxiety and relief that I am experiencing after hearing our district was closed due to the need to address deep cleaning in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus. These are strange times indeed and there is no way to tell how long this situation will continue. We are entering a Brave New World - one in which we need to find alternative ways to carry on the business of teaching and learning. Our children need us to figure this out especially our most vulnerable, disabled students. With this in mind, I have created this blog to share ideas to keep all our students supported and learning. There are many companies and groups posting FREE resources for virtual learning. Here are a few to start exploring: Scholastic Learn at Home - Resources for families, administrators and teachers.
